Storage Tips

Environment Matters:

• Don't store your products in direct sunlight or humidity as heat, light and moisture can degrade some ingredients.

Size Matters:

• If you container is not sealed, the larger the volume, the higher chance of deterioration before the of it's shelf life.

Packaging Matters:

• Not just for sustainability, Aluminium, other metals and some plastics can react with active ingredients or leech chemicals in to products.

Time Matters:

• If products start to have a different smell or texture they may have outlived their usefulness to your skin. If in doubt chuck it out!

At Louthera, we take all of these factors in to consideration. We provide metered dose sealed containers using the most product and environmentally friendly materials. Our products have a minimum 2 year shelf life if stored correctly.
